I was using OBS Studio and had to update the BIOS on my Dell computer. When I updated the BIOS, the system no longer recognized the audio on my Sony analog camera. Using a StarTech USB capture card to stream the Sony camera to YouTube. Before the BIOS update, OBS was picking up the shotgun mic connected to the Sony camera just fine. Now it doesn't pick up and I get an error message.
I tried installing OBS just to see if there was a difference. The attached is the OBS log file. It shows a connected analog audio mic, but shuts down when I try to preview the stream.
Wirecast picks up the mic without a problem. I was trying to switch to OBS to allow for local recording. If I unplug the mic from the camera and plug it into the PC's audio card, it works.
