Cam link gives black screen

I use OBS in combination with a canon ca20 and 4K cam link for livestream on YouTube.

I recently got a new laptop (Lenovo) and ever since the camera is not showing. It does show the cam link, but once I click on it I just see a black screen.

I have tried restarting the laptop, updating the cam link drivers and resetting the camera to default settings. I also tried multiple USB ports. I’m out of ideas, anyone who can help me fix this?

Make sure the USB is not on power saving or Window is set to the Performance power setting
Camlink on a UBS3 port
Not familiar with the camera Make sure it's outputting an HDMI signal Verify by connecting to TV HDMI in
I'd look at the Windows USB settings and power management

The USB ports do not show in the advanced power settings. Through the device manager I did select the option that USB ports cannot be turned off to save battery.

What do you mean with connecting to tv HDMI. I should connect it to my tv right?

I have tried to do this. On the tv it’s working properly. Also, for the power saving I tried to check (see detailed message in my other reply..).

Yes, to verify that the Camera is outputting HDMI and it is stable Just because the cam's display says it is doesn't mean it is I find that Camlinks are picky They like very stable HDMI signals and are not fond of resolution changes nor small drops in the signal as from resolution change or mode changes Also try a different HDMI cable You want a good quality HDMI cable
