Im just setting up a dual stream pc and im using the C985 capture card. Everything works well, except for the fact that I want to listen to my game (csgo) through my headset. To do this i run a 3.5mm jack to my cc's audio in then my headphones from audio out. I get static when I do this but cant figure out why. any ideas?

So the line-in on the C985 is really bad (the HDMI audio in is what most people use, so most people don't know). Use whatever sound card you have in your computer's line in instead. If it doesn't have a sound card, you'll need to get one.
Also, to make sure it isn't a source issue, make sure to do what Sapiens says and listen to it right off your gaming computer and make sure it sounds right there. Finally, consider sending the audio over HDMI instead of using a 3.5mm cable.
