Hi guys.

I have:

1. Logitech c920
2. Win 8.1
3. 3 options for encoding (i420, rgb somewhat, mjpg).

This cam eats cpu intensively, when it comes for 1080p. I read a thing, that there is a hardware encoder (and a 4 option, basically) that named "h264". But for me its someway does not exist in "choose a format". "Use GPU" option is just blocked.

Is there anything possible to unblock built-in hardware encoder? Maybe NOT LOGITECH drivers (some firmware tweaks or smth)? Because its just not working at all...

Need ur help, bro's. :3

p.s.

Sorry for my bad eng. Bears, vodka, balalaika and so on...

This is not an OBS issue and the general solution is to run the camera at a resolution lower than 1920x1080 if your system is having issues with it (e.g. related to USB bandwidth/host controller). The "Use GPU" option is always on the video capture device configuration screen regardless of the device selected, and does not mean the option exists for the selected hardware.

You should probably direct your inquiry to Logitech, or if your system has USB3 ports available try connecting to a few of those and see if the situation improves first.

I have 4 usb 3.0 ports. None of 2.0, to be precise.

I will contact with tech-supp of Logitech, but... I think they gonna threw me away with nothing. :3
