Under The Radar

Hey guys. Apologies if this is in the wrong category
So I’m sure this has been a hot topic but for the life of me I can’t first a source thread that comes to the issue I’m having
when I use Logitech C920 webcams on OBS using custom mode (adjusted resolution, fps, etc.,) the zoom feature under the cams property when right clicking it in OBS and settings doesn’t seem to zoom in completely. Only zooms up to 20% then stops. If I switch the camera from custom mode to default device, the zoom works completely, BUT the image is very grainy as the cam is on a tripod about 30ft from the target source. If I switch it to custom device setting in OBS using like a resolution of 1920x or even 1080p again the zoom only allows me to zoom in about 20% closer then stops, still showing a far away shot and not zoomed in with a clear image.
is there something I’m missing or need to adjust for the zoom to work completely while using high res on the c920’s??
thanks
