Built-in update fails from account that is not local administrator

My user account on my Windows PC is intentionally not a local administrator, and so when UAC requests administrator privileges to install software, I enter the password for a different local account that is. This generally works fine for software installation and updates, but not for OBS. When I get the built-in prompt in OBS that a new version is available and I say to update now, it downloads the update, the UAC prompt pops up asking me for the password for the administrator account, and then the OBS Studio Update window comes up and immediately fails with, "Update failed: Couldn't load manifest file".

Downloading the installer from the web site and installing that way works fine, including UAC again popping up to ask for the administrator password. So I have a workaround, but it's a less convenient. Updaters for other software packages manage this situation fine, so I'm hoping OBS can be updated to do so as well.

Thanks!
