Question / Help Built a new PC, fresh install of obs lagging

As the title, I built a new PC in December, latest i7, so everything should be fine but OBS and stream is lagging even though i'm sitting at 144fps in games

I had this problem a while back when i manually setup my stream but doing the auto config fixed the problem, not anymore it seems.

you try to encode 1080p 60 fps at slow, of course it does lag. Change your encoder setting to veryfast or faster

It was still doing it before I had changed that. Wouldn't an i7 that was just released a few months ago be capable of slow?
