Hi friends. First off, if this is in the wrong section or anything, please feel free to move it, I am sorry, I just thought this is the most relavant place. Next off, I'm building a computer, in which I want to stream for amateur and collegiate leagues of many esports. Now, I don't know 2 craps of what is needed for this type of setup. I have this worked out, from some twitch guidelines, but since I am going to try to to use OBS as my primary streaming system I guess that is what I should focus on right?

I was thinking the following:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6819116899
Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6813131989
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaw X (8gb) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6820231445 OR 2 of these http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6820231666 I'm not sure if 4x4 would be better because of threads or not. I'm not to clear on the concept.
Not sure what's a good Nvidia card these days. I've been sitting on my 550ti for too long.
Was juggling between the following for cases http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6811139025 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6811146070 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as ... 6811133212

Edit: Total price before video card 678
But I'm concerned about sound. I might reuse my Fractal Design Artic White because it's so quiet.
Excuse any mistakes, I whipped this up quickly. Again if you have tips on hardware for streaming, I'd love you forever

More for each thread? Huh? I've never heard of that being a thing, where did you hear that?

Less sticks is usually preferred because you're using less power and it's a bit easier on the memory controller. Supposedly a tiny bit faster too, but I doubt it would be enough to notice. If you plan on overclocking at all, I would absolutely recommend going with fewer sticks. Less variables you have while overclocking, the better.
