Hello everyone. I am currently trying to build a new pc, but I am stuck between AMD and intel... I am streamer which means I need lots of CPU power, as well as GPU. I plan to put a GTX 980TI in it either way, but my problem is should I spend the money to get the 4790K or the 9590.. I mostly Only want to stream call of duty, Infestation: Survivor Stories and such. I want to stream in 1080p 30FPS or 720P 60FPS. Can I do this with an AMD 9590 and a GTX 980? I plan to drop 32GB of ram in it too. So is it possible to stream in 720 60fps and still have 60fps without going under it? Thanks in advance.

The 4790K beats the 9590 in every way. Encoding, gaming, encoding while gaming; the 4790K is just better at all of them.

Whether you can hit a certain framerate depends on the quality settings you use and the game you're playing. The answer to your specific questions is probably "yes", but you didn't ask how high quality it'll be when making 60fps. That said, there really isn't a better option than the 4790K without going into Intel Extreme series CPUs or a dual-PC setup.

Oh and do yourself a favor and insist on Windows 7 or 8.1.
