I reported a bug about window capture (XComposite) not working on FreeBSD, but it has apparently been fixed as of late without me noticing.
The issue with capture being weird if the window being captured is on another desktop remains, but the same issue is also present on Linux, and seems to be related to X11 compositing and likely cannot be avoided.
