Question / Help Bug in settings or am I missing something?

I am trying to connect OBS and Twitch for the first time.
I have my stream key from Twitch.
I run OBS as admin.
I open Settings > Stream.
In the first drop down menu Stream Services has been selected.
The problem I have is that the drop down menu for Service remains inactive. I can't select what service to use or even open the menu at all. It remains blank.

I managed to solve the issue. I need to update OBS manually (d'oh). The particular version I had (21.1.0) was bugged so that the software was unable to check for updates properly, or so I'm told. I'm new here so I'm not sure how to do this myself, but this thread can be tossed.
