Regarding not using registry cleaners on NT based systems -- the major difference between NT and non-NT Windows OS' is the filesystem, not the registry. And whereas NTFS is indeed a far more robust filesystem, the registry remains every bit as susceptible to junk as a result from software not cleaning up after itself. A prime example -- any software by Microsoft including but not limited to Windows itself will cause severe bloating of the registry over time. It actually used to be the primary cause for instability in Windows. That has been solved somewhat but registry errors can still occur quite easily. And I can vouch for the reliability of Eusing. As with everything caution obviously is key here but like most actual non-malware registry cleaners it does a fine job of creating backups in case something goes wrong.
