Question / Help BSOD while streaming

Hello everyone,

I have a brand new PC Desktop with the following specs:

- Intel Core i7 4770K @3.5GHz overclocked to 4.4GHz;
- Maximus VI Hero Motherboard;
- 8GB Ram;
- GeForce GTX 750ti;
- Windows 7;

It was sent to me after a stresstest was made, so I'm assuming the Overclocking is stable.

Until now I have experienced 3x BSOD, all of them while using OBS, so I'm assuming the software is in some way related to the cause of it.

Using "BluescreenView", I got this information which I hope will give you some hints on what is going on.

Any advices?

Thanks in advance!

Blue screen in the kernel generally means unstable hardware. Run your own stress test with something like OCCT, LinX or Prime95. OBS stresses parts of your system that may never normally be stressed (both CPU and GPU). As a quick test, turn off your overclock and see if the problems go away.

Based on my personal experiences with the 4770k CPU, 4.4 GHz can be quite unstable depending on how lucky you got with your CPU.

I just tried the Prime95 Blend test and it failed immediately (BSOD after 5 seconds).

Is this the proof that my overclocking is not stable?
