Question / Help Browser Source not working on 64bit

Hi,
so as the topic states I ran into this problem recently.
The browser sources were working fine on the 64bit version of OBS until a few of days ago,
however the past couple of days the browser sources have not been working.
They seem to be working fine on the 32bit version however.
OBS is running on a 64bit Win10 installation.

I tried flushing the dns cache as well as setting the browser sources to refresh on scene chance to no avail.
Which of course should not really be the problem anyways since the 32bit version is working fine.

If you use any antivirus software, make sure to whitelist OBS (both 64 and 32 bit .exe files).

Ok that seems to have fixed it, I added the 64bit obs to the firewall exceptions.
I don't really understand though why it would've been suddenly blocked?
Since it was working fine a few days ago as I mentioned.

Because most antivirus software is poorly coded and introduces random issues like this.

Well, this same problem appeared again.
The 64bit OBS is still in the firewall exceptions but the browser sources will not show up.
HOWEVER the 32bit sources are still working fine just like before, and it has never even been added as an exception.

Might there be something funky going on with the actual 64bit browser source that randomly disables it or something, since the 32bit seems to work fine?

I've tried removing and re-adding the 64bit OBS from the exceptions and this time nothing happens.

As I was writing the above I did some random messing about and I tested it on my second computer where the 64bit version was working fine.
I tried flushing dns etc. on the computer it was not working on to no avail.

Then suddenly out of nowhere Firefox wanted to do an update on the computer where the 64bit was not working (suddenly as in I had been opening it several times during the messing about without a prompt for an update).
And lo and behold the 64bit was suddenly working again.

Was this some kind of freak coincidence and the browser sources just fixed themselves without a prompt or is the browser plugin somehow linked to Firefox/default browser?
Though again this brings up the weirdness of how the 32bit version was working all this time, just not the 64bit.

Well, the 64bit version of the browser source has now stopped completely working.
I've tried with several sources with no avail.
The 32bit version still works, so I am currently forced to use the 32bit version on the 64bit system because I want these browser sources on the screen.

I even tried with completely disabling my firewall software to no avail.

//EDIT
And right after I posted this again that weird thing happened where Firefox wanted to suddenly do an update and low and behold the 64bit version works again for the moment.
What the hell is going on here? Why is Firefox updating affecting the browser source? AND only the 64bit source?
Would changing the default browser of the system to something else stop this weird random thing from happening?
This update has also not appeared for several days as the browser source hasn't been working, it only appeared just now.
