Browser source firewalled?

I'm in the middle of migrating from Windows to Linux and recreating my setup. I have OBS 32.2.2 on CachyOS installed with the obs-studio and obs-studio-plugin-browser packages. Browser sources generally work.

I'm trying to set up Fugitech reactives and these just can't see my local Discord client. Going to the Fugitech website on Firefox it works and can see discord, opening up the specific browser source URL in firefox also works. But the browser source itself never connects.

I tried making a new browser source, interacting with it and going directly to the Fugitech website to sign in to it and see what it going on. I get a big red banner saying "You explicitly blocked Reactive from talking to Discord. Please change your browser permissions to grant access".

Where can I grant the browser source the permissions it needs? I only see permissions for it interacting with OBS itself, nothing about websockets or whatever it is it's using to talk to Discord

Solved it

The package CachyOS/obs-studio-browser does not have this issue.

It's a slightly older version than znver4/obs-studio with znver4/obs-studio-plugin-browser, but it works fine

Now I just need to figure out why recording stream over an NFS share causes severe encoder lag, while this was not an issue over SMB on Windows
