I am trying to stream video from a Browser source using the IP Webcam app on my Android phone. The video feed works fine until I start streaming. When I start streaming, I can see the frozen frame in OBS and my YouTube Live preview, but it stays frozen. I would appreciate any advice with this issue! Here's a log file:

Thanks!

have you attempted to check the box highlighted under properties below for your input source?

Thanks for the reply! I just tried checking the "Refresh browser when scene becomes active" box. The feed still freezes, but will occasionally show some laggy movement. I also noticed that even just by entering the IP address in my Internet browser, the video feed from the app freezes, after I start streaming in OBS.

it is quite possible your local network cannot handle the load. or your computer is overloaded. browsers sources are very intensive on computer resources.

if you re able to stream say a pre-recorded video then the issue lies with the source you are attempting to stream or an overloaded PC

Do you mean that the combination of receiving the stream from my phone via the Browser source and uploading an encoded stream to YouTube is too much for my local network? It doesn't look like my CPU is being overloaded.

yes.

when I attempted to use my cell phone on my cell network to stream to a browser source, and ingest it into OBS the result was terrible. the only way it worked even a little was to stream from my phone not using the cell network and do so via wifi... but even then it was bad.

I see. I might look into DroidCam then, it seems to have an option for streaming to OBS over USB. Do you think that could work? Thanks for your help!
