Question / Help Broadcasting to Skype with OBS

So, I've been having issues with my Skype videochat. I've been using the built-in window capture to do things with my GF (who lives out-of-state) like watch TV/Movies, play trivia, etc... Just trying to find some way(s) to make us feel a little closer. Recently, my headset microphone stopped working so I bought a new headset, but now she can't hear anything going on, on my end (but can still see the video). This is rather problematic, as we also tend to listen to music and whatnot as well. I was wondering if there was a way to use OBS to "broadcast" to skype (Video and Audio) or if I'm going to have to get creative in order to continue watching movies / listening to music, etc.

OBS cannot be selected as a source for skype, no or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you were doing before and why its not working now.

That is what I was looking for. I'm aware you can do something similar in XSplit but I've never used / don't wish to use it, as OBS does fine for my streaming needs, and was hoping that OBS offered a similar functionality. I suppose I'll have to think of something else. Thank you for your time.
