I'm wonder why it is not possible for OBS to have two output sources captured? It would save a lot of hassle not having to deal with Virtual Audio Cables if I could tell it to listen to my speakers (which produce game sounds) and my headset (which has Vent and Skype).
I took some time today to actually set up Virtual Audio Cables and route everything so I could try to keep my current setup while feeding all the sound into OBS. The sound quality was terrible coming from VAC. I'm shelving that project for now and running everything into my headset, but my game volume is so low it can't even be heard on stream, while it's still quite loud in my headset. It almost seems like it isn't worth trying to have game sounds at this point.
So, what is the reason OBS can't use two output sources?
