So i purchased a brio 4k pro webcam for $200. I set the Resolution/FPS setting within OBS to 4k/30fps and then notice both a huge LAG, DELAY, NOISE EFFECT and WASHED UP COLORS, even without hitting the record/stream button.
This is nothing like the 4k quality that i am getting out of the default Logitech Capture application software(clear, really nice quality in 4k). Also when I set the resolution to "default device" which I guess is 1080p?, I am getting a much better result than the 4k custom setting. Plus for 1080p I am getting the 60 fps as well.
How can I get the OBS video capture device quality to be the roughly the same as my 4k quality from the Logitech Capture? I want a super nice (4k) video/image with 30 fps for my video capture device... otherwise I would've just purchased a C922 if I wanted 1080p...
I've attached a picture so you can see what I am talking about.
Help!
NOTE : I intend on using the 4k setting cropped to just capture the face in a small part of the screen, like those gameplay videos, so how do I make it so that it doesn't lag so much? Also how is it that I can record in 4k/30fps with no lag full screen using the default logitech capture app, but NOT IN OBS in a cropped, smaller window? Makes no sense.
p.s. I've tried adjusting the camera quality on logitech capture as someone suggested, but that did not help with anything.
