Hi forum,
I recently bought a new laptop and decided to record and montage Dota 2 clips. I downloaded OBS and followed the same settings people use on youtube, but still having issuses recording Dota 2 in highquality without freezes/stutters.
Laptop specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60Hz 2.59GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960m
RAM: 8.0G
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 64-Bit
Display Maximum Resolution: 1920 x 1080
All my CPU and Videocard settings are up to date.
OBS Settings:
Encoder: x264
CBR: Enabled
Quality Balance: 10
Max Bitrate: 8000
Use Custom Buffer Size: Disabled
Buffer Size: 8000
FPS: 60
Scene Buffering Time: 400
x264 CPU Present: Veryfast
Encoding profile: High
Keyframe Interval: 0
Use CFR: Enabled
Is there someone who can optimize the OBS settings for my CPU or have a suggestion for me to try out?
Maybe someone with experience in recording Dota 2 Reborn footage?
I am able to record Dota 2 fluently when i downscale the video quality, but i want to record the game in the best settings. When i am playing the game all settings are on high-end.
Hope for a quick reaction!
Regards,
Nick
