Question / Help Both stream and game lagging

Hello, some time ago i was streaming with same configuration as now. I hadn't problems but yesterday i decided to remember what is to stream and started a stream is OBS Studio but 2 minutes later i stopped the stream because in CS:GO my fps dropped from 200+ to 100-120 and stream looked like a shit, it was very laggy... I have streamed with same settings before and i hadnt problems. Can the problem be my configuration? Can it still handle streaming?

Log File: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/15dfe4b7fdae5ac89243b280da598465

My Configuration:
  • CPU – Intel Core i5-3470 - 3.20 to 3.60 GHz
  • RAM – 8GB DDR3
  • GPU – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
  • Upload speed - 90 Mbps+

1280x720px30FPS Veryfast
19:50:49.200: Output 'adv_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 714 (45.0%) -->your CPU is overloaded
19:50:49.200: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 13 (0.8%) --> youyr GPU is limiting

As CSGO is also CPU intensive, this CPU overload causes CSGO fps drops.
Reduce ingame graphics settings, and / or limit FPS.

Streaming with QSV encoding:
1280x720x30FPS
19:53:22.045: Output 'adv_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 1 (0.1%) --> GPU encoder limiting
19:53:22.045: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 9 (0.5%)--> GPU limiting

Rescale down to 1092x614 or even 910x512 to avoid CPU problems. Use x264 for better image.
Rescale only in video settings. Leave output rescaleunchecked.

1280x720x30FPS x264 veryfast 2300 Kbps
23:32:03.417: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 76 (0.6%) ---> GPU limiting
23:32:03.417: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 193 (1.5%) --> not enough network bandwith? 2300 kbps + 128kbps audio + game, you need at least 3000 kbps ( 3 Mbit) for this

1280x720x30FPS NVENC hig quality 2500 kbps
01:08:36.496: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 27 (0.0%) ---> GPU limiting
01:08:36.496: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 142 (0.1%) --> network issues

As I said before, rescale down to 1092x614 or similar

Do you get always this results?

With this tes:
http://www.therealtimeweb.com/index.cfm/2004/10/2/fms-port-tester
You need to succed all ports , like this

RMTP Default Success 4.5s
RMTP Port 1935 Success 4.5s
RMTP Port 80 Success 4.5s
RMTP Port 443 Success 5s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Default Success 6s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 80 Success 6s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 443 Success 6s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 1935 Success 6s

If not, you have to talk to your ISP.

RMTPT (Tunneling) Default Success 2.1s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 80 Success 2s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 443 Success 2s
RMTPT (Tunneling) Port 1935 Success 2s

It's seems ok but i didnt expect that results in TwitchTest. I don't know what is the problem...

I choose optimal settings.
You can make a backup of yur setings if you want to revert changes.

21:58:13.322: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 185 (3.5%) --> A few network issues

Rescale down to 540p or even 480p
Rescale in video settings
And, remember, rescale only in video settings. Leave output rescale unchecked.

After a lot of tries, I set 1366x768, rescaled to 1280x720p 30FPS, 2000 kbps bitrate and i decided to run DIRT 3 instead of CS:GO and boom - no lag in-game, no lag on stream... I tried CS:GO with same settings and the stream starting to be laggy. Can the problem be that CS:GO is set to High Priority?

I tried your settings but the lag is same. I have tried to set OBS to High Priority and it was better but still laggy.

OK, I think i found the problem - CS:GO uses 90% my CPU and there isn't enough power for OBS but i don't know how to fix it.
