Hello,
So I'm having a problem with my stream quality regarding OBS:
My settings:
720p@40 FPS
Lanczos filter
Veryfast Preset
3000 Bitrate and Buffer size
CBR/CBR padding: checked
I also use game capture for recording my games. I mostly try to stream some CS:GO and some battlefield 3.
Now...I've already read many posts that no matter what you do, having a blurry stream is inevitable when downscaling. I do not agree when comparing it to mEclipses (shroud) 720p stream for example (here is one of his video's as an example: http://www.twitch.tv/meclipse/b/546961304 ) Looking at his stream settings through R1CH's http://r-1.ch/analyze-twitch-vod.php tool I do not see anything special regarding his settings, they are almost identical to mine except for the preset, which shouldn't matter that much.
here is an example of mine: http://www.twitch.tv/critvv/b/547130862
Is there anything I can do to make my stream less pixelated/blurry?
if it matters, I got an i5 3570k @ 4.8 Ghz and a stable upload speed of 3.5 Mbit/sec
