Hello

I am trying to stream some moments of wow mostly but it is blurry as you can see here:

http://www.twitch.tv/zypes89/b/567760226

My Uploadspeed is according to testmy.net 3.3Mb

The OBS settings are:
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/75769434367900ca1451

Encoding:
Use CBR - checked
Enable CBR padding - checked
Use custom Buffer size - unchecked

Max Bitrate - 2500

Video:
Base Resolution: 1920*1080
Downscaling: 1280*720
Filter: Lanczos
FPS: 30

Advanced:
x264 CPU Preset - veryfast
Profile - Main
Keyframe Interval - 2

My CPU performance is at 70% while streaming in the maincity. I OCed it to 4GHz and I could go higher but I dont think it is the CPU atm.

I hate to be *that guy*, but that doesnt seem blurry at all. Seems to be perfectly fine. The only blurryness there is, is the fact that its 720p.

..The damage is in the hundreds of thousands now?

..Anyway, you probably just need more bitrate. WoW is a high motion game with all the flying and movement. You could also try this custom x264 command, which might help out for WoW specifically: tune=animation

well the pixelation breakdown is indeed quite bad this might be caused by the filtering method try changing it but i kinda doubt it

for everything else you shouldnt expect too much theres always a limit with quality most of the imtes your vod looked fine

I did not see any unusual "pixelation breakdown" actually. Just normal WoW being WoW as Jim already mentioned :/
Add more bitrate, compression or try lowering the resolution further (but that will probably degrade quality as well).

Thank you all for your responses.
After analyzing other streams I guess I found the "solution".
You are right. It is blurry just because it is 720p. The other streams which are flawless are all 1080p.
Unfortunately I can't put out 1080p. My CPU goes to 100% and even though I get pixels when I move.

Stream looks nice and smooth.
