Backstory, I live stream both DJ sets and yoga classes. For the former, I use my C920 and my workstation's audio line in. For the latter, the same webcam and a Blue Snowball. I was experiencing audio glitching with both, and managed to solve the issue for my DJ sets by taking out the 10' USB extender cable I was using for the webcam. Was hoping doing the same for the yoga classes would yield the same result, but no such luck.
The odd part is that I streamed a class on Friday using a 3' extender cable for the cam , the log shows no audio buffering, yet there is still some glitching in the stream. Today I plugged the webcam directly into my workstation and the log file shows audio buffering, and in the brief amount of the class I reviewed, it seems there are more audio glitches present than in Friday's class.
I've been searching the forums and online for solutions without finding anything definitive. I've reinstalled the mic's device drivers, made sure timestamping is turned off in OBS, etc. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
