Blender not showing for window or game capture

So trying to record blender in OBS studio but for some reason it doesn't show in window or game capture. I see a gray screen when I use window capture:

And a black screen when I use game capture (I tried game capture as one of the archived threads here said blender uses openGl so game capture might work) but this is what I see:

Although display capture works , but i rather not see those task bars and other things in my display in the recording:

Try running OBS as Admin. To run OBS as Administrator, right click on the OBS shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok. If still having issues, then

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

What helped me was setting the capture method to "Windows 10 (1903 and up)" as opposed to leaving it on "Automatic".
