Bug Report BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle Audio Issues

Hey guys,

Recently swapped over from that other app to help increase my stream performance and decrease my hardware usage. Had some pretty good results with my PC using an Avermedia Live Gamer HD to capture. I use a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle (it sucks I know) for my consoles, and I didn't have any problems on that other app but now I have audio issues with OBS. The audio seems to come out choppy and inconsistent for my Xbox. It also seems to be looping sometimes. I'm not watching the stream while streaming, and my Microphone is muted so the only audio should be coming from the capture card. Here's a video example:

Here are my settings:

OBS v.50b 64 bit -
Device Source: Blackmagic WDM Capture
Audio Input Device: (Use Device Audio) - output audio to strea only
1920x1080 29.97 fps

Blackmagic Properties-
Audio Format - 2 channels, 48khz, 16-bits
Video Format - HD 1080i 59.94 - 8 bit 4:2:2 YUV

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

*edit* - Just read the other stickied threads. Whoops. I'll post a detailed report of my settings when I get home from work today. I also read the "known problems" thread, which states that the Blackmagic product line is known for having audio issues, but they were supposedly fixed in 0.48? Maybe I should try going down a version to see if that fixes it?

I've heard that you can now actually use the "Decklink" option for video, and then you manually select the "Decklink" option for the audio drop-down in the device source properties as well, and that tends to fix the problem. Could you try and see if it works?

Hey Jim, just saw this now. I'll try it when I get home from work later today and edit this post with my findings.

So, I tried doing Decklink Video and Decklink Audio. Sometimes it works well, and the video is 29.97 fps with perfect 1080p no interlacing lines or anything, other times it skips frames, frames tear up, and becomes super interlaced with lines everywhere. The audio seems to be working though.

This is at 1080p resoulation, with 10 quality and 3800 max video bitrate, and 128 bitrate for AAC audio encoding.

Yea, deinterlacing is one of the many issues that I've always said I'll get in eventually, but like everything else keeps getting delayed every time I trip over my own shoelace. I haven't really had any time to persue my own interests even as of late.
