Oh, let it also be known I've updated to macOS Sierra as well, and so far OBS still runs great, it's just still working around this BM Thunderbolt issue. Going back to trying the Elgato + Window Capture = 1.5 delay has it even worse, so I want to make the BM as best as possible.
I also want to avoid bootcamping Windows.

Actually, I re-setup everything since I had moved a couple weeks ago, and I tried the LineIn route again... IT WORKED.
So the only differences I had this round were having that open, and I use a USB line-in for the RCA, instead of the other that went into the headphone jack of the iMac.
Now my setup is seriously flawless on a Mac the best that it can be until we get some more updates! I'm so happy though!
