Question / Help Blackmagic device list is empty

Hello!

I have a Sony FS5 camera that connected to Blackmagic H.256 encoder via HDMI.

I Installed the Blackmagic software and getting the image from the camera succesfully. But in OBS, when I add a new Blackmagic device the device list is just empty.

Tried to reinstall it, tried to add a media source / recording device and nothing.

Added the last logs where I tried to do that.

Make sure that your security software not blocks OBS Studio (webcam protection and so on).

The built in camera works. How can I check that?

Then I don't know what else may cause this. @Jim has hardware example of the Blackmagic device, maybe he knows more. You can try to run OBS Studio 32bit exe to see if it runs anyway better with your Blackmagic drivers.

The h264 recorder isn't a member of the decklink, intensity or ultrastudio lines, it won't show up as a blackmagic device for OBS to use.

So how can I use it with OBS?

You MIGHT be able to add it as a video capture device, but if that doesn't work, you can't.
