Blackmagic audio issues

I have three Blackmagic capture devices, one Intensity Pro and two Decklink Mini Recorders. Their default audio in OBS works well, but when I add them as Audio Input Capture (so that I can have independent volume control over the 2 channels) their sound becomes choppy and delayed.
Also, when I change the number of channels for a Decklink Mini Recorder OBS usually crashes and sometimes won't relaunch unless I delete that scene collection from the scenes folder, as OBS automatically loads on launch the last scene collection it used.

I followed your recommendations from 1 to 6 (2 drivers were outdated, everything else was fine) and OBS doesn't crash anymore, thank you! Nevertheless the choppyness and the delay in the Audio Input Capture from the Blackmagic devices persist. I tried the same procedure using devices from other brands and with the Inogeni 4K HDMI to USB converter something else happened, the default audio was silent and the Audio Input Capture worked well, whereas with the Elgato Cam Link everything worked well.
When you recommend against OBs.live / streamelements / streamfx do you mean on this computer or on any computer? I need streamfx.
