Black webcam feed from external webcams

Hi all, first post here, thanks in advance for any help.

I have attached a number of external webcams to my iMac and all work in Facetime. Some are connected directly some through a hub. When I load OBS the only camera I get video from is the internal webcam.

I have tried removing cams and swapping them around with the same result, all work in Facetime but only the internal cam in OBS see an example with a Logic C920. I also restarted and reinstalled OBS and a number of other fixes I found on the web but nothing has worked so far.

This is my first time using obs and I have tried my best to work through posts and the manual but haven't solved the issue.

I did download a trial version of Ecamm and it sees all the Webcams and they can be moved and added to scenes so I don't think this is an issue with the Mac.

Have attached a log file.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Could it be because I'm using an old Mac and I've patched it to run the latest OS? It's strange how I can see all the other cameras. Any idea's would be appreciated.
Thanks

I've got the same problem on a MacBook Pro M2 using OBS Silicon. In OBS I can use (see) only my isight an ONE other webcam. All OK on zoom or other software. On my "old" MabBook (intel 2019) everything was OK (OBS for Intel).

I've given up trying to make it work on the iMac for now and going to use the MacBook Pro intel which seems to work fine. It's obviously impossible to test this on every version of Mac, time I retired my old iMac.

OK...so, It's an "M2" problem not an OBS problem...or....twice!
