Question / Help Black screens STILL

I've asked this question so many times but no one seems to know the answer, I have a laptop and I try to record videos with game capture but it just shows a black screen, I followed all the guides and none of them work. I have set my high performance NVidia processor as main but it still doesn't work. OBS really needs to fix this *I'm on abs studio

Im not on a laptop but had a similar problem with MSI 960 GTX. I fixed it just by deleting all nvidia drivers from control panel and running DDU (Display driver uninstaller) after that (make sure to reboot after uninstalling from control panel). Then made a clean install on nvidia display drivers without 3d drivers and Geforce expirience. I also reinstalled OBS just to make sure it works :)

Game capture is supposed to be used with full screen apps(not full screen window,kind of DMA mode),and to hook output,admin authority required,did you run OBS with admin authority?

Game Capture works fine on games running in windowed mode, or any other mode for that matter.

the things I have on game capture are the following - Any Fullscreen Aplication, allow transparency, capture cursor, use anti-cheat compability look. Just a few days ago game capture worked fine and display capture wouldn't work, now it has flipped and I need game capture to record specific things, like medal of honor pacific assault. bc in display capture it shows the game being only in the top right corner, I am unable to resize it bc every time I go to obs to resize it it will just show obs, in game capture I can resise the game.

I'm curious, what type of problem would u be looking for in a log, I can look through the log for the problems - I don't want to make an account or download anything just to show someone a log.
