Bug Report Black Screen

whenever I try to use this program I add the scene and then add my source but then all I get is a black screen. I have the latest version of direct x and I have re installed this a few times but nothing is working. Any help?

What operating system are you on? Does it happen with any kind of source or only with one, can you for example see a image file? Try running Windows Update and make sure you graphics card drivers are up to date too.
