Question / Help Black Screen

Hello

I just got OBS to stream some games to my friends so they can have a look, but i only get a black screen ( on a laptop!) and whatever i do i can't seem to fix it. Could anyone help me in some way with this issue?

I have already read the 'what do on black screen, read this first' post. And I just discovered that i can stream for example super hexagon, but a game like Mark of the ninja it refuses to stream and just give me a black screen. I have my drivers up to date, and i run OBS trough my NVIDIA card.

I have also just discovered that Super hexagon is a game that is NOT in the list of programs my nvidia card controls, and yet is the only program that is being streamed properly.

If needed I can give acces to my teamviewer to look into it.

p.s: In my log files it seems to still use the integrated card while i clearly selected the nvidia one

I have found a partial solution to this, if you disable the integrated graphics card under 'device manager' you can use the monitor capture option which in turn lets you stream your game.

I still hope someone can find a solution to me not being able to just select game capture but atleast I can stream now.

In addition to the nvidia control panel thing you might, in certain games, need to use game capture with anticheat hook enabled or window capture with compatibility mode enabled.
