Okay so I've been streaming with FFSplit normally, I enjoy it but I like OBS because I can stream a game and still have other windows opened up in front of it and those not get recorded.
Here's my problem:
Using OBS 64 bit since the game is 64 bit
I can capture my monitor using the monitor capture and that works fine.
I create my scene > create my source "software capture" > select window capture > hit refresh > select my WoW game window > uncheck mouse capture > hit ok
go back into OBS highlight Scene > make sure my Software capture is checked > preview stream and it selects some other program as the capture, like Trillian or a random windows folder or OBS or mumble. IT DOES NOT SELECT WoW when I choose WoW. Why is that? It acts so wonky by randomly selecting the program and I can recreate this 20 times and it never selects WoW. I can choose other windows like lets say I wanna capture mumble, it chooses my windows folder and not mumble, so WTF?
My other Method "Game Capture"
I do the same steps above, choose game capture > it selects WoW for me since its the only 64bit process there, I select stretch, uncheck mouse, ok. BLANK SCREEN!
I'm going insane here with this, it works fine for another user and does not work for me at all and I want this feature where I can hide my other windows... UGHGGGHGHG!!!!!!!!!
