Question / Help Black Screen whilst full screen recording

Hey guys,

I've just migrated to Win8 and now I can't record any full screen games. I was able to before and I'm able to capture my screen and any windows that are running but when I go to launch a full screen game, all I get it a black preview/recording. I have checked that it's not just the preview window showing black; the saved video also shows it.

My specs:
AMD P2 X4 955 BE
8GB RAM
Radeon HD 7950
Win8 Pro x64

Any ideas?

I'm not sure, if i'll help you, since i havent ever got that problem, have you selected fullscreen game? Also it could be problem of graphics drivers on W8.

Try using a separate scene with game capture in it for fullscreen games also make sure that it's a directx 9 or newer game..

I want to record the whole screen including before I go into a game. That's the problem. Recording using game capture works but if I have both monitor and game capture, it spits an error at me saying that it can't load all of the sources.
