Hello,

I want to record a web-browser game (Heroes Online) but all I can capture are the black screen and the cursor.

- My web browser is Microsoft Edge.
- My OS is Windows 10 64-bit.
- My laptop computer is Acer Aspire V17 Nitro, Intel Core i7-4720HQ 2.6GHz up to 3.6GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M with 4 GB VRAM, 8 GB DDR3 L Memory.

- I tried to use Window Capture, Game Capture, Monitor Capture unsuccessfully.
- I already opened NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings, selected both Microsoft Edge and OBS and set High-performance NVIDIA processor.

I appreciate any help.

I just tried to record using Google Chrome successfully. So, I guess OBS has not supported the new web browser Microsoft Edge yet?

Could someone help please? Or at least please tell me the reason. Even if I can't record Microsoft Edge at the moment, how can I record the whole screen? I already used Monitor Capture and it also gave a black screen. I tried to search many guides but nothing can help so far.

Monitor capture requires obs to be set to use the intel gpu in the nvidia control panel on your system.

I already did. Is there anything else I must do?

Wait, do you mean "Intel GPU" or "NVIDIA"? I read in Jim's guide that I must select "NVIDIA".

it needs to be set to intel for monitor capture.
It works now. Thank you very much.

I can use Monitor Capture as an alternative method now. But, it would be still nice if I can capture Microsoft Edge in some way. I'm looking forward to it in future.
