Question / Help Black Screen while attempting to capture full screen game through a capture card

I have my primary gaming PC and a secondary PC that handles streaming.

The gaming PC is connected from a GTX 1080ti to a Magewell Quad Port HDMI PCI card in the streaming pc via HDMI
Tried this with both Warframe and Wow. The stream works fine and captures while in windowed fullscreen but shows only black screen while in regular fullscreen

Have you made sure the games are outputting in a resolution and refresh rate that the magewell supports while the games are in fullscreen?
