Question / Help Black screen when using window previously used successfully

I am getting this problem many times. Here is my log file of the last time it happened. https://gist.github.com/0395dccb09ae8a8f5106. I rebooted to see if the problem would resolve itself

Windows 8.1 problem on two different computers - one bought today

Unfortunately that log is somewhat incomplete. Are you saying that window capture isn't working?

Windows capture is working fine when first set up but if i change what is being displayed some windows capture and browser source windows just give a black screen

Also to be sure a window will work for either 'capture' method, i am using a new unique name as it appears to me that OBS remembers these black screens even when removed and then recreated, as it seems impossible to reuse the same name once the black screen appears for that name.
