So, I've spent most of the day trying to find solutions to this problem, but have been unsuccessful. I do apologize if this is a simple fix. Every time I try to "preview" or "stream", my webcam shows up, but my game will not. It's just a black screen. I select the game using the game capture source. Here's a screenshot. However, if I remove the game capture source, and I replace it with the monitor capture source, it works just fine.
This confuses me to no end. Why does the game capture fail to work, but monitor capture succeeds? All drivers are completely up to date, and I'm positive my system can handle streaming. The audio works wonderfully, the webcam has no issues. It's just trying to get the game to show up in the background without using the "monitor capture" source. It's also important to note that I've tried both steam, and non-steam games.
