Sorry in advance for the long post but I want to leave as many details as I can.
I am currently using OBS Studio to stream my PC games through the Elgato HD60 Pro. PC Specs: i7 7000 / Nvidia GTX1080. I am using 2 TV's as monitors, one is a 1080p the other is a 4k HDR Samsung KS8000.
Of the 4 "out" ports on my GTX1080, HDMI is going to my 4k TV. 1 display port is converted into HDMI and going into the 1080p TV and the other display port is converted into HDMI and going into the "in" on the Elgato ("Out" on elgato is not used).
Because I wanted to still play at 4k I have Cloned my 4k TV to the Elgato (Monitors 1/3 in settings) and Monitor 2 is the 1080p TV.
OK, here is where the issues come in...
When I play PUBG in Steam it's streaming great in OBS. BUT if I try to stream anything else (BF1 through origin, Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3 through Xbox for example) it only shows a black screen in the preview pane when I am in game, but when I Alt+tab to OBS it shows the preview and streams the game. I have also had instances where it stays a black screen until I go into the settings of that source.
I don't know if there is a setting I need to change or if I need to have the HDMI from the GTX1080 go to the Elgato, and instead use a Display port / HDMI converter cord for my 4K TV.
Any info or advance on this would be greatly appreciated!
