black screen when using browser

Yes, I will admit I am new; however, I believe others are having the same problem ...
When selecting "browser" and entering the URL of a desired page / site, the preview screen stays in black with a red box square indicating my recordable space - but NO website display.
I adjusted the graphics setting to Power Save as suggested in your manual / guide - but still not able to capture a website image - yet the "audio" feature seems to work very well!
Using an Acer laptop with Windows 10 recently updated and latest OBS program.
So, my question is: why can't I capture / see the "web"?
 
Try enabling/disabling browser source hardware acceleration in the Advanced Settings.

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
