Question / Help Black screen when trying to use game capture on DWM (monitor capture)

Good evening, as the title implies, I'm trying to use the game capture source to capture my primary monitor desktop, as some of you suggested in my other thread saying that the built-in "desktop capture" is more laggy, but when I try to do so, nothing appears and the video remains pitch black.
I've tried to tick and untick it during preview/record/stream, I've tried to remove and re-add it either while streaming/recording/previewing or with everything stopped, I've tried in both admin and non-admin mode and Aero is enabled (as you can clearly see in the screenshot), I dunno what to do...

OBS doesn't save log files for recordings, if you really need one, I can start a quick stream (like 2 seconds long) and generate one.

OBS saves a log for every time, preview record or stream is pressed.in fact, it starts a log as soon as you start OBS.

Second, what exactly are you trying to capture, because DWM.exe can only be captured on windows 7 and it will not capture any full screen apps while it does this. both situations mentioned above would cause a black screen.

Oh, then this should be the log of that preview:

The "Multi-graphics card" you read IS NOT ACTUALLY a second graphics card, but I think OBS sees the Intel internal graphics card of my motherboard (which obviously I DO NOT use) as a secondary GPU

I'm trying to capture my whole primary monitor desktop, as if it's the "desktop capture", basically I need that kind of capturing for Quake Live (which is the only game that drops its FPS to 15 even on lowest settings if I use the game capture instead of desktop capture) and random browser/flash games that my viewers and ts buddies suggest me when I do my "random games" streams

rebuild the game capture from scratch. did you have anything other than the desktop on your monitor? any games etc?

I already tried to delete and re-add that game capture from scratch, same result even if I have only OBS open

When was the last time you updated windows? one other question. do you have any other monitor captures in any other scenes? if so, remove them especially if you have any in global sources

I had another thought today, you might need to run OBS as admin in order to capture DWM.exe. please try and update me on this.

right click OBS and click run as admin for a one time test. If this works. right click on OBS.exe and go to properties and select run as admin in the properties box to run like this permanently.
