Question / Help Black Screen when streaming and Updater Error?

Hello,

I was using an older version of OBS and I thought my streaming was going well. I set everything up to play League of Legends and you could see my client on the screen, however, when it went into full screen mode, you could hear the sound, but not see the picture.

I can get the LoL Client to show in windowed mode, but I can not get the game to show in full screen or borderless ect.

EDIT: Been messing around. I am able to get the client and game to show up now in stream. However, I have to make scenes from window and I have to be in "borderless" mode to use it. Also, I am trying to use an OBS plug in for switching, but it does not work properly. I may be using it wrong.

Need to close down OBS and LoL, maybe restart the whole system, then manually install again. It sounds like the capture dll was still active when you tried to update, and didn't get updated.

That fixed the download issue.

However, still can't view my stream in when a game starts for League of Legends.

Close down your game and OBS, and then reinstall the new update. It looks like the graphics capture DLL didn't properly update. There should be a bunch of log stuff related to game capture at the end of the log in the newest version.

As I have stated before, I have done this and it resolved any update issues. Thank you for the help.

My issue is that I can't use "game capture" for my League of Legends game. It only goes to a black screen when it loads the game and I hear sounds, but no image.

I am able to set up two scenes through window, but that is inefficient as it doesn't close the first screen and I have to manually do it.

Oh lord, sorry. This is what happens when I skim through threads too fast.

Anyway, if Window Capture works, you can use the automatic scene switcher plugin to handle and source/scene switching you might need to do. It's quite easy to set up, check its thread in the Work In Progress section of the Plugins forum.

Yes, I already have it, however I'm in that thread because it's not working properly :P

Still doesn't resolve the issue, but i'm trying.
