Question / Help Black Screen when streaming a fullscreen game

Hi guys,

Did a bit of youtube/googling before posting to try to solve this, whenever I attempt to stream a fullscreen game i always get a black screen but game audio is there but when i stream something other than a fullscreen game the stream is fine.

any help you can give me is much appreciated :)

Fullscreen games can only be captured with a Game Capture source. Neither window nor monitor capture will work because of the way the game is rendered in fullscreen.
So, start the game, tab-out to OBS, add a Game Capture source and select the game in its properties. Switch back to the game and it should show up in OBS.
