I use OBS purely to record tv programmes that are playing onscreen. I'm currently only able to capture the audio, with a black screen. I've had this problem before, and solved it by changing some settings, but I can'thonestly remember how.
I use a DELL Inspiron 15 3000 laptop with WIndows 11 Home, Version 22H2, Build 22621.819
I use Display Capture, currently set to Automatic Capture. In my Windows settings, OBS is set to Power Saving (GPU - Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620). I am pretty sure that I have been able to capture the display previously with these settings.
My alternative options for OBS are: Let Windows Decide OR High Performance (GPU - Radeon (TM) 520)
I have followed the guidance on here, and tried changing my Display Capture setting to both other options (DXGI and WIndows 10). Also changing my Windows Display settings to High Performance. Nothing I have tried has worked.
A troubleshooting guide on here mentions using Compatability settings but I can't work out where exactly this is, to try it out.
ANy advice would be appreciated.
