If the laptop is an AMD graphics laptop there's not much you can do. You basically have to use window capture with "compatibility mode" enabled in its properties, and run the game in a borderless/windowed mode.

If you are not on a laptop with AMD switchable graphics however, It did however say it captured.. You aren't trying to capture the lobby with game capture are you? You definitely need window capture for the lobby (compatibility mode on), and then game/window capture for the main game

Right click the source, go to properties, and then it should be in there. I apologize if it's confusing, it does kind of have a lot of features.

As it's windows? You won't be able to capture in fullscreen on an amd-switchable laptop. It's just not possible because of amd drivers right now.
