Question / Help Black Screen when recording on Laptop (Already tried the NVIDIA fix for it)

So I've been trying a bunch of things to get OBS to capture Stronghold HD from Steam along with my livesplits so that I can start speedrunning it. My livesplit works fine but the Game Capture for Stronghold is resulting in a black screen. I've tried anything I found online and nothing worked, including the pinned thread for blackscreen when capturing with my laptop when trying to use the Game Capture feature. I've tried capturing a specific window and any fullscreen window to no avail. This is a fullscreen game without the option to make it windowed or anything like that. Let me know if you can help.
