Question / Help Black screen when I add Display capture for recording

This was working before and now no longer works.

I'm using OBS 23.1.0 64 bit on a Windows 10 machine 64 bit.
Intel graphics

For whatever it is worth, I have the same problem. I have switched the compatability mode for both the 32bit and 64bit OBS shortcuts. I have a Dell with dual nVidia and Intel integrated graphics. I have edited the settings in the nVidia control panel, remains black. I use Camtasia and Debut and they both capture my screen just fine, but I would rather use the far more flexible OBS. But it seems a bit of loss.

Display capture needs OBS to be running on the power saving, not the high performance.

I have 2 dell PC and OBS studio works perfect on Win7 laptop but on the other it does not and its a WIN 10 .The problem started after I upgraded to Win 10, that's when the black display started. Any ideas on what I need to do to the Win10 laptop? I have done all the recommended fixes from the forum. Did not see one related to Win10 upgrade.
