Question / Help Black Screen Video w/ Audio when Recording

Every time I record the video is black but there is still audio. I've been looking around a bit to try and find a quick fix for this on a few different forums and faqs and to my knowledge have tried everything that I can think of with no success.

If there is anything else you think I should try please let me know... at this point I don't know if I can get it working.

Well, I'm not sure why I was having the problem in the first place but for now I seemed to have found a quick fix... I changed the file saving format from mp4 to flv and then converted the recorded flv to mp4 and the audio and VIDEO are there. Perfect. If anyone is having a similar problem you should try just changing the save file format.
