Question / Help Black Screen - Video Files wont play in VLC or Windows Film And TV But Do run in Windows Media Player

As stated in title.

Using newest version of OBS Studio 64 on new Gigabyte Aero 15W V8.

Game capture - specific window.

Using exact same settings as I use on my desktop. On my desktop there is no issue at all.

I tried installing x264vfw codec pack but no difference.

VLC - files show black screen but audio plays.
Windows Film and TV Player - shows green screen but audio plays.
Windows Media Player - Files Play

Also unrelated to OBS but may give more idea as to the problem - youtube videos show black screen but can hear audio.

To update:

I believe I have fixed this. When I first got the laptop I updated the Nvidia driver but forgot to update the onboard drivers. After doing this the issue appears to be resolved.
